Submissions

The submissions system lets the community suggest new vehicles for the affini.ag platform and vote on suggestions from other collectors.

Submitting a Vehicle

To submit a vehicle suggestion:

1. Sign in to your account
2. Navigate to the submissions section
3. Fill in the vehicle details:
   • Make (required) — e.g., "Porsche"
   • Model (required) — e.g., "993 GT2"
   • Year range (optional) — e.g., "1995-1998"
4. Submit your suggestion

Submission Rules

• You can only have one active pending submission at a time
• Vehicles that already exist on Market Watch cannot be submitted (you'll see a conflict error)
• Submissions start with a status of pending
• Pending submissions expire after 7 days if they don't gain enough traction

Sharing and Voting

Each submission gets a unique share link that you can share with other collectors. The link takes them to a voting page where they can support your suggestion.

How Voting Works

• Anyone can vote — no account required
• Anonymous votes count as 1 point
• Signed-in votes count as 10 points — sign in to make your vote count more
• Each person (IP address) can vote once per submission
• Duplicate votes are silently ignored

Vote Page

The voting page at app.affini.ag/vote/{token} is designed for sharing on social media. It includes:

• The vehicle name and who submitted it
• Current vote count
• A vote button
• A prompt to sign in for a 10x vote

Submission Lifecycle

1. Pending — newly submitted, collecting votes
2. Approved — accepted for inclusion on Market Watch
3. Hidden — removed from public view
4. Expired — automatically expired after 7 days without enough votes

Deleting a Submission

You can delete your own pending submission if you change your mind. Navigate to your submissions and use the delete option. Only pending submissions can be deleted.
